I’m of Ngāti Whātua and Ngapuhi whakapapa and raised under the korowai of both iwi. I grew up in Reweti, which is close to Kaipara Harbour. My kainga is right next to my marae Te Whiti Te Rā. Living under the guidance of my whānau ignited my passion of Te Ao Māori.

After 11 years of teaching  I was inspired to create a whānau business that connects communities with Te Ao Māori.

We believe that the strength of carrying one’s past into the future is that our tupuna are ever present.  They empower us everyday day to inspire communities to develop a deep understanding of  Te Ao Māori.

Māori Cultural Advisor

I am proud to whakapapa back to both Tuhoe and Ngati Raukawa, and spent my formative years living in both Wellington and Tamaki Makaurau. I attended Rosmini College, graduating in 2017. I play rugby to a high level, which I balance with my mahi. I was very fortunate growing up to have experiences with my Māori side, but I know I still have a long way to go on my Journey in Te Ao Māori.

I feel lucky to have had exposure and connection to my Māori lineage, and these have led me to join Cultural Flow. I’m thankful for an opportunity to spread the knowledge our beautiful culture holds with this meaningful mahi.
